【NTUCE CAE 2025 Admission Information Session】
Master's program applications are about to begin!

Come and join the CAE (Computer-Aided Engineering) Group's admission information session to learn more!
Different from traditional civil engineering fields, the CAE Group specializes in using various information technology to solve engineering problems!

研究所雙主修機會
A: 校內雙方系所要同時有開放才能雙主修，比較多的是跟國外共同合作的double degree，大多為博士班的交換計畫，詳情可詢問系所負責人員。
Opportunities for Dual Majors in Graduate School:
A：Dual majors within the university require both departments to have open programs simultaneously. There are more opportunities for double degrees in collaboration with foreign institutions, mostly as part of doctoral exchange programs. For details, please consult the departmental officials.

同系跨組修的機會
A: 修課都可以修，可由兩邊教師共同指導，但畢業證書不會寫上兩組共同畢業的，只能擇一。但研究上可跨領域執行是沒有問題的。
Opportunities for Cross-Domain Studies within the Same Department
A: Students can take courses from different departments, with guidance from professors from both sides. However, the graduation certificate will only reflect completion from one department, not both. However, conducting research across disciplines poses no problem.

畢業後的出路跟方向
A: 畢業後的方向很寬廣，過去的畢業生有在顧問公司、營造業、政府機關、銀行、科技業或學術界等，不愁沒工作。
Career Directions after Graduation:
A: There is a wide range of career paths after graduation. Previous graduates have found positions in consulting firms, construction industries, government agencies, banks, technology firms, or academia. Graduates typically do not have trouble finding employment.

修什麼課對於讀CAE組有幫助
A: 台大學生若於大學時期修過CAE老師的課，且成績拿到A+，可以抵免。我們也鼓勵學生修習特定資訊技術的課。
Relevant Courses for CAE Group Students:
A: If a NTU student has taken courses taught by CAE professors during their undergraduate years and received an A+ grade, they may be exempt. Students are encouraged to take specific courses in information technology.

傳聞有參加暑期實習的同學都已經卡位卡好了，而無參加暑期實習的同學似乎上榜機率非常小，請問真實情況是否如此。
A: 暑期實習是讓學生跟老師彼此認識的機會，是兩面刃，如果學生表現不好，一定會影響上榜機率，如果學生表現良好，也會有比較高的機率上榜。
The rumor suggests that students who participate in summer internships have a higher probability of being accepted, while those who do not participate find it difficult to be admitted. Is this true?
A: Participation in summer internships provides an opportunity for students and professors to get to know each other. It can influence the likelihood of acceptance. Good performance increases the chances of acceptance. Otherwise, if students perform poorly during the summer internship, it may negatively impact their chances of being accepted.

A: 對，請email。

畢業條件包含論文要投稿至SCI嗎?
A: CAE組畢業條件沒有限制一定要投稿，由各團隊指導教授自行決定。若有規劃出國深造的打算，建議於碩士班畢業時同時將畢業論文投稿期刊。
Graduation Requirements Include Submitting Theses to SCI Journals?
A: There is no requirement for CAE group students to submit theses to SCI journals. It's at the discretion of the supervising professors. For those planning to study abroad, it's recommended to submit the thesis to a journal upon completing the master's program.

請問外校土木沒學過程式能進CAE組嗎?
A: 可以。
Can Students Join the CAE Group Without Prior Programming Experience from External Civil Engineering Schools?
A：Yes, they can.

請問轉學過的話需要檢附轉學前的成績單嗎?
A: 要，建議提供大學以上的成績單，並於備審資料或是口當天說明清楚。
Are Transcripts from Previous Schools Required for Transfer Students?
A：Yes, it's recommended to provide transcripts from universities and higher institutions. Please clarify this during the application process or on the interview day.

推薦信只能是老師嗎?
A: 不一定，如果實習單位的經理願意幫忙提供，也可以推薦。
Are Recommendation Letters Limited to Teachers?
A: Not necessarily. If a manager from an internship organization is willing to provide a recommendation, it's acceptable.

應屆畢業生學歷證明是上傳學生證就可以了嗎?
A: 因為很多學校的學生證並未蓋註冊章，建議可以在學證明代替，此部分請於上傳資料前看清楚規定。
Is Uploading a Student ID Sufficient for Recent Graduates' Educational Verification?
A: As many student IDs may lack registration stamps, it's suggested to provide educational verification documents instead. Please read the regulations carefully before uploading.

推薦函是固定兩封還是至少兩封?
A: 我們接受至少兩封的推薦函，實際上請依照學校規定繳交。另提醒，請邀請對你有利的推薦方協助提供推薦信。
Is a Fixed Number of Recommendation Letters Required?
A: We accept at least two recommendation letters. Please follow the specific submission requirements of the institution. Additionally, invite individuals who can provide favorable recommendations.
